Wendy Henderson is an Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Registrar from Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Wendy has worked for the WSL providing Emergency Medicine care for professional surfers at events across Australia, Indonesia, China, Fiji over the last 8 years. She has also provided volunteer medical services at a variety of remote surf camps in Indonesia and Fiji. Wendy has a special interest in developing remote first-aid systems and holds a Masters in Public Health & Tropical Medicine.
Wendy has a habit of being in the right place at the wrong time and will share her experiences of using CRM to manage surf emergencies in remote and resource poor locations.
When she’s not working or travelling she is usually enjoying the waves around Torquay with her husband and 3yo grommet.
