Dear Surfing Doctors and Allied Health Professionals,
It´s on again!
The EASD is opening the registration for the “Kick off“ Conference 2013 on the 2nd – 5th October.
Our aim is to ultimately reach out to the surfer in every European country, to the Surfing Doctor and AHP in every European hospital and beach. We will continue our legacy by visiting other exiting European countries and surf cultures. 2014 is going to be the year in which the EASD will “Kick off” and sail to other shores, leaving for now our friends in Portugal, to find new friends, new beaches and waves, to educate, learn and share.
Always staying true to the traditions of the EASD: Non-profit, evidence based and state of art, the EASD has prepared an exciting and unique program for the Conference 2013.

Expert lecturers from the whole globe will be covering these topics, sharing more amazing experience and knowledge with the EASD Surfing Doctors. In the following months we will introduce these unique colleagues to our viewers, highlighting their connection to the sport and competences.
This year we will offer three workshops during the conference. You will be able to participate in one of them. Physiotherapist/osteopaths/manual therapist will participate in the first Surfing Physio workshop. A specially designed session with hands on teaching by experts who work every day with Surfers. The other participants can taste either from the basics in Life Saving with professional lifeguard trainers or have their hands on in an exciting scenario training, Pre hospital care for the critically ill/injured Surfer.
The Conference Registration and Openings Dinner/Ceremony will start on the 2nd of October!
